FEBRUARY’S OUTING REPORT

February’s outing at Benson Canyon was very well attended, with twenty PCSC members signing the guest log. Most were metal detecting and a few did a little drywashing. A group dig lasting an hour, did show results with Terry  G. detecting a nice round piece with his Gold Monster. Weather was terrifically good. The potluck had a good variety of dishes.

The winners of the skill-based hunt were. Terry G. Nancy R. Mitchel N. Lue N. Gaby G. Surge D. with Scott K. scoring twice.

March Get Together, 27 to 29 Benson Canyon

The next Outing will be at the Taft lot in Benson Canyon, Friday March 27th, thru Sunday March 29th. An outhouse is available at the Taft parking lot.

Potluck

I am willing to do the cooking breakfast Saturday, Sunday. Please be prepared to share in the cost with donations of at least $6 per meal. Breakfast of Eggs, sausage, hash browns, and coffee will be offered Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am to 8:30  am. Plan on a potluck on Saturday by bring a side dish. The food donations raised will fund roasted chicken as the main course.

The road to the lot is negotiable for passenger cars, and trailers towed with 4x4’s.
