Memorial Day Weekend Outing

For the next Outing we will be meeting at the Taft lot in Benson Canyon. The May 24, Memorial Day weekend offers a change to make it a four day event. Taft Prospector will be sharing this event with us.

I am will to do the cooking Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Please be prepared to share in the cost with donations. $6/Breakfast, and $5/Lunch. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, and cowboy coffee for Breakfast. Hot dogs, potato salad, sauerkraut, and coffee for Lunch. Please RSVP at least two days before. That way I can purchase the appropriate supplies. Plan on a potluck on Saturday by bring a side dish. We will try to make do with left overs for the potluck on Sunday.

A PCSC sponsored skill-based Coin Hunt with gold dust awarded as prizes, will held Saturday 2:00 pm and will run for 1 hour. It is free to PCSC members. Your guest may participate on a one-time basis. We will do fires for the evenings if weather permits. Please bring wood.

The ground should be dry enough to liberate the free mill gold.
