I hope this message finds you well! I have exciting news about our upcoming event at the LDMA property in Arizona this April 10 – 12 2026. This will be our second trip to Stanton, and we’re introducing new and improved features to this year’s program. Of course, as before, we will have access to all the Stanton facilities such as flush toilets, hot showers, camping facilities (both dry and RV camping sites), dump stations, trash bins, gold panning stations, special Placer Pete in town paydirt and others. The LDMA is opening a new cut on one of their premier claims for the Placer Pete participants. Let’s go get the gold!
We will also have new vendors attending the program and unique demonstrations of new products from the vendors. Come see the Minelab Gold monster 2000, Royal’s new Puffer style drywasher, and Kreeger’s power sluice prototype for use with wet and dry material! You won’t find these reveals all in one place anywhere else. This is going to be a can’t miss Placer Pete program.
A new feature this year
Register before February 1st and receive 20 additional drawing tickets (a $100 value). Have a prospector under 16, bring them along for $20 / day. This includes meals, educational programs and access to the claim and in town Paydirt. If you need options in the payment schedule check with the LDMA to discuss a payment schedule that fits your needs. You can also use the special code to get 20 additional tickets! That would be a total of 40 more tickets (A $200 value) if you can take advantage of both offers!
VIP Package Highlight
We understand that everything has gone up in price; therefore, we’ve worked hard to add value to our pricing. The 3-day VIP package includes hookup and dry camp options with over $280 in additional value this year. This all-inclusive package features meals, giveaways, drawing tickets, and special speakeasy events. VIP members get our very first Placer Pete Hat along with a newly designed pin and our famous koozies (needed at Stanton for your adult beverages). You’ll also gain access to all the coin hunts and preferred camping (if registered by February 1st).
- Exclusive Dig Day: Our VIP package now includes an option for an exclusive digging day on Thursday! If you arrive on Wednesday night or Thursday, you can join us for a special day of digging on the claim. Just pay the low camping fee for your stay, and you're all set.
- Special Giveaways: Enjoy giveaways from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and receive our very first Placer Pete's hat, along with Placer Pete pins and koozies as part of your package.
- New Breakfast and Lunch Menu: Experience an exciting, revamped menu for the daily Placer Pete breakfast and lunch prepared by our new Chef.

- Minelab will showcase their new Gold Monster 2000 metal detector, designed for ultra-fine gold detection in mineralized ground.
- Kreeger will also be with us, showcasing their new prototype power sluice, ideal for processing desert and dry material.
Other Package Options
Our packages include various benefits, such as pins, hats, koozies, and drawing tickets. We also offer Gold Rush and Bargain Digger packages with different perks. The Gold Rush package is the same as the VIP package without meals and speakeasy access, the Bargain Digger is a basic package with no meals or other goodies, but you can still dig for the gold! Pay dirt will be available in town like last year; however, no processed dirt will be available at the claim. Use your best processing techniques to find gold at the claim this year. Please see the chart below for details and pricing on each package, as the benefits vary by package.
